Open source inside Atlas Scout

Atlas Scout includes open-source software created by many authors. We are grateful for their work. Their licenses apply to the components they cover; they do not make Atlas Scout as a whole open-source software.

The complete notices ship with the software

Every Atlas Scout release archive includes THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md with the exact dependency inventory, copyright notices, attribution notices, and license texts for that release. The file is generated from the locked dependency graph and verified as part of release packaging.

That bundled file is intentionally exhaustive, and therefore long. Different projects can use the same license while carrying different copyright or attribution notices, so those notices cannot all be replaced by one generic copy of the license. Identical notice texts are deduplicated in the generated bundle.

What the current bundle covers

The current dependency inventory uses permissive licenses including MIT, Apache-2.0, Unicode-3.0, ISC, BSD-3-Clause, Unlicense, Zlib, CC0-1.0, and BSL-1.0. The bundle also includes the separate MIT notice for ZaguanBlade-derived portions and the applicable notices for bundled tree-sitter grammars.
